The room was charming, but the heat made it unbearable at night.

Staying here with a group of friends was fantastic! We enjoyed the lovely outdoor pool and the incredible dining experience on the terrace with multiple courses. The park by the river offers so many activities, like visiting Kwanza, one of the baby gorillas. The staff was super friendly, and the local wine was great value.

The room fell far short of expectations with cheap, plastic flooring and dated furnishings. I had expected a charming ambiance given the chateau's history, but it was a letdown, especially being placed in one of the uninspired side buildings away from the main chateau. the sauna and wellness area closed too early in the evening, making it impossible to enjoy them during our stay.

the chateau is in a charming village, and the grounds are beautifully kept. swimming in the outdoor pool was fantastic on a hot day, especially at 32 degrees. we enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant, with four well-presented courses and a great wine selection. the staff's knowledge about the menu truly stood out. it’s also close to a local deli for delicious afternoon pastries.

Had a sweet as time here, but breakfast was overpriced and the room could've used a bit of a spruce up. The outdoor pool was a real highlight though!

I enjoyed the stunning views by the river during my stay. The staff made check-in seamless and were always welcoming, although some had limited English. The on-site restaurant offered delightful meals. Just remember to request an iron for your room if needed!

I had such a relaxing time here! The outdoor pool was a dream on a hot day, and I really loved the indoor sauna for some peace and quiet. Just a heads up, the low beams in the room were a bit tricky at times. 😄

This was just a good match for a brief hiatus in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou at a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly checking us in and made the process smooth. If you need an iron for your clothes, make sure to request it at the front desk.

The building and location are fabulous, creating an inviting atmosphere. Staff communication at check-in was outstanding, as we were personally shown to our room instead of just handed a key. The room was spacious, quiet, and impeccably clean, with a modern shower, quality toiletries, and an adequately stocked mini-fridge. I also enjoyed the stunning views by the river during my stay. they added a lovely touch to the overall experience.
